Flotation is one of the commonly used methods for copper ore beneficiation. There are different types of copper ores in nature, and there are many kinds of copper ores that can be applied to flotation technology. The following will introduce you to the general process flow of copper ore flotation technology, the types of copper ore suitable for flotation technology, and the equipment used in the flotation process.
Cooper ore beneficiation production plant is used for upgrading ores. After this process, the value of final concentrated ore powder will be greatly improved. The basic process is crushing, grinding, sieving, and flotation separator and dewatering. The specific process is different according to ore, site and customers' requirements. The copper ore flotation processing plant is mainly composed of jaw crusher, ball mill, spiral classifier, mixer, flotation machine, ore concentrator and equipped with vibrating feeder, bucket elevator and belt conveyor etc. This production line has the advantages of high efficiency, low energy consumption, high processing capacity and economy and reasonable structure.
Equipment list | Feeder,Screen,PE jaw crusher,Cone crusher,Ball mill,Feeder,Strong magnetic seperation,Pump,High efficiency screen,Weak magnetic seperation,Tailing pond,Tailing recoverymachie,vacuum filter etc. |
Raw materials | separate copper, gold, sliver, zinc & lead, maganese ore and other non-ferrous metals and non-metallic minerals. |
Mohz hardness | 3.0-8.5 |
Feeding size | ≤1000mm |
Capacity | 50-100t/h |
Output size | 5--20mm |
Application | Widely used in industrial sectors such as metallurgy, iron ore, gold mine, mining, etc. |
1. Crushing and grinding: The raw ore is initially crushed by crushing equipment, and then finely crushed by grinding equipment to achieve a particle size suitable for flotation.
2. Mixing and stirring: The ground ore is mixed with flotation agents, foaming agents, etc., and fully stirred in a stirring tank so that the flotation agent is fully in contact with the ore.
3. Bubble blowing: The mixed and stirred ore slurry is passed through a flotation machine, and the air is blown into the foam so that the copper-containing minerals adhere to the foam, thereby separating them from other impurity minerals.
4. Separation: The copper-containing minerals and impurity minerals in the foam are separated, usually by a scraper separation device in a flotation machine.
5. Degassing: The separated copper-containing mineral foam is degassed to remove the moisture and flotation agent, and a dry copper concentrate is obtained.
6. Concentrate treatment: The copper concentrate is further processed, usually including leaching, smelting, and other steps, and finally pure copper metal is obtained.
