There are some obvious differences in appearance between single-cylinder cone crushers and multi-cylinder cone crushers. Here are the specific ways to distinguish them:

A. Appearance features of single-cylinder cone crushers and multi-cylinder cone crushers

Single Cylinder Cone Crusher

1. Single-cylinder cone crusher

Overall shape: thinner at the top and wider at the bottom.

Number of hydraulic cylinders: There is one hydraulic cylinder at the bottom.

Other features: There are usually holes drilled under the bottom hydraulic cylinder for installation and fixing.

Multi-cylinder Cone Crusher

2. Multi-cylinder cone crusher

Overall shape: The upper and lower diameters are similar, and the overall shape looks rounder, similar to a bucket waist.

Number of hydraulic cylinders: There are usually six or eight hydraulic cylinders distributed around the circumference of the frame.

Other features: Because there are multiple hydraulic cylinders surrounding the body, the waist looks thinner and the hydraulic cylinders are arranged neatly.

B. How to distinguish between single-cylinder cone crushers and multi-cylinder cone crushers

1. Observe the number of hydraulic cylinders: The most direct way is to observe the number of hydraulic cylinders on the body. If there is only one hydraulic cylinder, it is a single-cylinder cone crusher; if there are multiple hydraulic cylinders (usually six or eight), it is a multi-cylinder cone crusher.

2. Observe the overall shape: the overall shape of a single-cylinder cone crusher is usually thinner at the top and wider at the bottom; while the overall shape of a multi-cylinder cone crusher is relatively round, with similar diameters at the top and bottom.

3. Observe the bottom structure: a single-cylinder cone crusher has a hydraulic cylinder at the bottom, and there is usually a drill hole under the hydraulic cylinder; while a multi-cylinder cone crusher does not have such a structure at the bottom.

ps: By observing the number of hydraulic cylinders, the overall shape, and the bottom structure, the single-cylinder cone crusher and the multi-cylinder cone crusher can be clearly distinguished. In actual applications, the appropriate type of crusher should be selected according to specific needs and working conditions.
